Toronto and Montreal are different and similar at the same time. In Montreal people speak French and English (bilingual) and in Toronto people mostly speak English or many other languages (multicultural). Despite the different languages both cities are highly populated and are tourist attractions.
The Quebec City is different from Toronto. It has a older town and a newer town. Inside the older town there is a upper and lower part. The lower part is cobble stone and there are no cars the upper part is where the famous hotel la Chateau Frontenac. The older part has a very small population. There are more shops than houses.A similarity between Toronto and Quebec City is they are both the capital of their provence. They both have provincial government buildings.
Toronto and Ottawa are very similar but also different in may ways. In one way they are similar is that the government meets in Queen's Park, Toronto, and in Parliament Hill in Ottawa, but in Toronto it's the provincial government and in Ottawa it's the federal government. In another way they are different yet still similar. It is that Toronto is the capital of Ontario and Ottawa is the capital of Canada, so despite the fact that they are both capitals one is the capital of a province and one is the capital of Canada.
Iqualuit and Toronto are both capitals of their province or territory, but Iqualuit is very different from Toronto. For example, Toronto has more people living in it then Iqualuit does. Another thing is that the territory Iqualuit is located in (Nunavut) was only made a territory whereas Ontario became a province in 1867. Iqualuit is in the north, and Toronto is located in the south. Also, one place is in a province and the other is a territory.
Ontario and Nunivut are very different because Ontario is very populated and Nunivut is much colder than Ontario. Also, Nunivut doesn't have many resources such as fruits and vegetables from plants. Nunivut doesn't have city centres like we do here with lots of skyscrapers.
I agree with Adam 5, Iqaluit the capital of Nunavut is very barren which is why it has low population. It also has gravel roads, no traffic lights, and no sidewalks. Another different thing is there is a territorial park. It is filled with hills, tundra, waterfalls, and rocks. In iqaluit the ground is very hard and frozen do to permafrost so to build structures they have to build above ground.
Yes I also agree with you Henry because most people live in places were its warmer like Florda, but living in Nunavut is for people who like cold temperatures. Those people who like the cold are people who have recently been in places almost as cold such as Ontario but Ontario has a very effective and blanced climate for a country far in the northrn regions so that they are able to make buildings for a more developped country like it currently is like right now.Although, why doesnt other provinces in ontario make buildings like what what we have in Ontario?
